Model: GC2010D Transformer Oil Dissolved Gas Analyzer

Transformer uses oil as coolant and insulator. Gases are formed within the transformer oil due to natural aging, faults from oxidation, vaporization, oil breakdown, electrolytic action or insulation decomposition. Because the transformer oil bathes each internal component, dissolved gases in the transformer oil contain lots of diagnostic information. Meanwhile, the transformer is very expensive to be replaced, so monitoring these gases is very important to know the current quality of transformer or when the transformer should be removed from service before failure. Presence of each gas compound and its concentration indicates possible failure of transformer.

GC2010D measures composition and concentration of dissolved gases in transformer oil. Performs dissolved gas analysis (DGA) on transformer oil.

Conforms to ASTM D3612, IEC 60567. CE Mark.
