(1) Use bolt-driver to take off wire from this terminal.
(2) Take off bolts on front panel of equipment, open the front panel gently. Please do not break the inner wires. Then, you can see this terminal in this red circle. This terminal is outer power supply input terminal.
(3) After take off the wire, use multimeter to measure this base and these two pads respectively, to check if short circuited each other or short circuited to ground.
a. If there is only short circuit on terminal and these two pads are not short circuited, pack these two pads by insulation tape respectively, then connect to outer power source, install fuse, then, open power switch. If the instrument displays normally, the heating plate is possibly broken.
b. If there is only short circuit on these two pads and there is no short circuit on terminal, the power plate is possibly broken.
