EEU Specification for GC (Gas Chromatograph)
Reference Specification for test setup having GC (Gas Chromatograph) with HEAD SPACE AUTO SAMPLER to carry out Dissolved Gas Analysis of insulating oils as per International Standard ASTM-3612-02 Method - C
System Installation and Accessories:
It is the responsibility of the supplier to supply the necessary accessories for complete installation with necessary plumbing accessories for connecting high purity gas cylinders to GPS, GPS to GC and GC to Head Space Auto Sampler. It shall include:
1. copper pre cleaned tubing for connection between Regulator to Gas purifier System (GPS) and from GPS to GC. For all the 3 gases - 50 feet length each.
2. Kits and tools like GC column Installation Kit, Fittings Kit, GC column rinsing kit, GC column cutting tool with rotating diamond, Injection port cleaning kit, FID jet cleaning kit, Septum removing tool
3. Three cartridge High capacity gas purification system for removing moisture, hydrocarbon and oxygen from carrier gas (Argon)
4. FID Fuel gas (Hydrogen) purification system for removing moisture and oxygen
5. Installation Kit for GC having TCD & FID combination.
6. Calibrated 30 ml capacity glass syringe with three way plastic stop cock shall be included in the package for injecting oil sample to the Vials.

The initial accessories shall include all the materials and consumables (except gases) required for the installation, successful commissioning and training. It shall also include the consumables and materials required for further testing of 3000 samples.

Computer with laser printer:
a) Controlling Computer shall have following minimum specifications: Intel Pentium IV @2 GHz, Bus speed min 133MHz, HDD - 40 GB ATA, 1.44 MB FDD, SVGA AGP display card with 64 MB RAM, 52X CD R/RW drive, DVD-ROM Drive, 512 MB RAM, 17" SVGA color monitor, 10/100MBPS LAN card and licensed OS (OS shall be the one on which the controlling software shall run).

b) However, if the GC with Head Space system Software being offered requires higher than the above specifications, it shall be ensured that the computer offered is of sufficient specifications, as required to the offered software.

c) Printer shall be HP-laserjet-1200.
