ASTM Color
For a wide range of petroleum products, including lubricating oils, heating oils, diesel oils, insulating oils etc.

Saybolt Color
For colorless to slightly yellowish petroleum products, including aviation fuels, kerosene, mineral oils, hydrocarbon solvents, petro-waxes etc.

Platinum-Cobalt/Hazen/APHA Color
For clear to dark amber colored liquids, like petroleum spirits, solvents and alcohols or oils, petrochemicals, water etc.

Gardner Color
For pale yellow to red colored oils and chemicals, like resins, varnishes, drying oils, fatty acids etc.
