Bahrain tender for supplying and commissioning of transformer oil analyzers
SUPPLYING AND COMMISSIONING OF TRANSFORMER OIL ANALYZERS: DISSOLVED GAS, FURAN & PASSIVATION CONTENTS (Electricity Transmission Directorate)
1. SCOPE
It is proposed to procure the following
i. A GC-TOGA with following technical specifications to detect, analyze the presence of dissolved gases in Transformer oil and measure their concentrations.

ii. A High Performance Liquid Chromatography System (HPLC) instrument to successfully test for furanic compounds in mineral insulating oil.

The Scope covers manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, satisfactory demonstration and training of Gas Chromatography / High Performance Liquid chromatography equipment complete with required accessories and software suitable for use by EWA / ETD laboratory.

2. DESCRIPTION OF TENDER
The scope of tender is further detailed as follows:
1. Supply of Gas Chromatograph with automated headspace sampler along with accessories for the detection and measurement of Dissolved Gases in Transformer Oil.

2. Supply of Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatograph with auto sampler along with accessories for the detection and measurement of the following:
• Furanic compounds in Transformer oil
• Passivation content in Transformer oil

3. Installation, commissioning, testing and training on the equipment, operating Software and all accessories must be carried out at ETD laboratory by OEM Application Specialist.

4. Training will cover the following:
• Use of the features & capabilities of the supplied system for testing and analysis of dissolved gases, furans and passivation contents in Insulating Oil

• General operation & maintenance and trouble shooting of the equipment and accessories are to be provided.

3. ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIRMENTS
i. The GC - TOGA unit shall be capable of being stored / operating continuously in ambient temperature in the range of 0-50 deg C for storage / 15-35 deg C for operation and relative humidity in the range of 15-90%.

ii. The HPLC unit shall be capable of being stored / operating continuously in ambient temperature in the range of 15-70 deg C for storage / 4-55 deg C for operation and relative humidity in the range of 15-90%.
