14. Sample Mixing and Handling
14.1 Sample in the receiver must be properly mixed to ensure a homogenous sample. Transfer of samples from the receiver to another container or the analytical glassware in which they will be analyzed requires special care to maintain their representative nature. See Practice D5854 for detailed procedures.
