9. Calibration and Standardization
9.1 Instead of direct calibration of the spectrophotometer with known naphthalenes, the average absorptivity of the C10 to C13 naphthalenes at 285 nm can be taken at 33.7 L/g•cm. The data used to calculate this average are given in Section 10.
